Tanya Chivers Mein - Bushwalking Guide, Meditation and Mindset Facilitator and Accredited Mediator
My love for the outdoors began as a child, gardening and bushwalking. I subsequently worked in the environmental and sustainability field with volunteers, facilitating workshops, guiding outdoors and working with the First Nations community. It was there, I discovered the joy in connecting with and motivating others to make changes in their life.
Through Deep Breath Nature Therapy, I am bringing together my knowledge of the outdoors and neuroscience as well as my passion for helping people.
Known by the Japanese as ‘shinrinyoku’ or ‘forest bathing’ and ingrained in the Traditional Cultures, Deep Breath Nature Therapy offers you slow time in nature literally or through visualisation. A slow walk in nature decreases stress hormones, heart rate and blood pressure while boosting your immune system. (Prof Miyazaki 2021).
Deep Breath Nature Therapy uses effortless meditation because it's easy on the mind (Nikki Janks) and breathwork to calm your nervous system (Dr Andrew Huberman).
